Cu4tro Cantos

The Four Songs of Life

Cu4tro Cantos is the new Ala Eh Blog. Since I cannot provide pure Batangueño articles, I decided a revamp of the site, which I think is more appropriate. Cu4tro Cantos refers to the four members of the Cantos Family. In spanish, Cuatro means Four, and Cantos means Songs.

Ala Eh! needs your input.

Good Day Batangueños!

After 15 days that Ala Eh! was online, the traffic figures returned is quite not satisfying. With that span of time, we only have gathered 734 hits, from 33 unique ip’s. Regarding that, it came to my idea that something has to be done to increase the numbers for Ala Eh! Also, with regard to this, only 10 users have registered. We need to increase this as well.

Your part is to provide input by clicking one of the options below or by providing comments. Rest assured that your inputs will be highly appreciated. Thanks and have a nice day!

Something Batangueños can be proud of.

Like many provinces in the Philippines, Batangas is one of which you can say “a home of one big family”. Almost all communities were composed of families that came from the same root. Anywhere you go are relatives.

Let’s say, if you go one place, you might meet the cousin of your great grandmother. And in another place, you might meet somebody which is also blood-connected to you.

Having said that, Batangueños have this trait of giving or sharing something they have, which probably is a cause of being connected with everyone in the community.

For instance, a neighbor will share something they cook for lunch with other families in the hood. “Are ang inyong kabahagi.” Or, a friend will offer to give you a free ride going somewhere. “Are na. Ako na ang magbabayad.”

Those traits are very common to Batangueños and are being practiced up to these days. Something we Batangueños should be proud of.

Welcome Batangueños

To my Fellow Batangueños,

Welcome to Ala Eh! A Place For Batangueños!

Firstly, I would like to say thanks for visiting this page. It’s much appreciated.

Secondly, let me introduce to you the Ala Eh! blog. Well, basically, the main intent of this project is for Batangueños to have a place in the internet where they could share ideas about Batangas. (e.g. Places, People, Politics, Schools/Universities, and everything you want to discuss.)

Being said that, the goal of this project is to have a very nice community of Batangueños and let Batangas be known all over the world. Think it’s impossible? Think Again!

As for initial release, registration for membership is closed until all necessary customizations and some required rules are finalized.

Please wait for further announcements regarding membership.

Thanks.
