- What is Ariba?
As part of the Christmas celebration in our company, we organized a competition ( for fun and fund raising ), among employees to cast their talent in modeling.
Unluckily, I was one of the contestants. Luckily, it’s not about the looks. Unluckily, I have to look good at some point. Unluckily, I haven’t done my rhinoplasty in Baltimore yet. Luckily, my nose doesn’t look that bad. Unluckily, I think I have the worst nose among the contestants. Luckily, I can carry it. Unluckily, it’s heavy but I can still carry it.
Luckily, I have a lot of money alloted to buy votes.
Whew! If you want to help me buy votes, so I can be the Next Top Model, a vote only costs 1 peso. You can donate via paypal some of your AdSense earnings via doante button below. If button does not work, please send your votes to mrniceash@gmail.com
If I win, I will pursue my modeling career and maybe go showbiz.
*Photos to be posted soon. Photoshop can’t edit the nose.
I wish I had a helmet
It’s too embarrassing! I was on the middle of a busy street when I intentionally turned off my engine since traffic was not flowing at all. I did it to save some gas, too expensive nowadays. And I also read that advise somewhere on the net so I gave it a try. I was too relaxed because the weather is not too hot and I don’t feel the heat at all inside the car. But when the green light appeared, the engine won’t start. And then my sweat started to come out like bits of corn. I was on my business attire by the way. Much worse, I forgot to turn on the hazards. And now I don’t just wish I had a helmet on, but wishing George Lindemann was my father so I can just leave my car and buy a new one right away.
I am still thankful though because it did not took too long to start the engine back. Finding a parking space was another problem. I waited on the line for about 10 minutes. I thought there was just some trouble at the gate until I had a view on the signboard. “Parking Full”. No choice since I was getting late for work, I had to park somewhere more expensive. Whew!
On victimizing Young Filipinas through illegal recruitment – what Baranggays can do to help stop this
I saw the early evening news one night. There was the usual news on parties debating about Erap’s pardon; some politicians blatantly talking about their desire to run for presidency in 2010 (mahiya kayo sa balat nyo!!!, yung iba dyan, umpisa palang ng termino!)There was also something about Beyonce’s concert. But what got my attention though, is the crime report. The crime watch team chanced upon 2 young Filipinas running restlessly Read more…
My First Paypal transaction
My friend is coming back from US this December and all my colleagues here started buying items for themselves online to save shipping cost. I decided to have one too. It’s really hard to find one. I’m gonna have this item, it’s also on my wifes list of gifts for me. I find it really cheaper on e-Bay than any store here so I have it. And I paid for it with through Paypal. I just wish the item be delivered on time, and never get lost. I’ll post the details when I already get my hand on it.
Hinata spotted
I missed this episode, I guess. Well, there’s a lot of episodes I missed. I just never thought I’d miss Hinata’s first appearance. For those who missed it as well, here she is. Read more…
