Journey to Cebu Updates
When Leah thought we’re being scammed, we followed up our reservation and it’s now getting clear. We now have the receipt.
We have confirmed:
- that we’ll be staying 4 days and 3 nights at the Crown Regency for FREE.
- that there’s no hidden charges for us.
- that a Deluxe room at Crown Regency is reserved for us.
- that the reservation fee of Php 5,000 will be given back to us upon check out.
Now that it’s cleared. Packing things will start next.
Filipina Duo, YouTube’s New Rising Stars
Rin On The Rox sings Beyonce’s If I were a boy
YouTube has been the medium for many artist seeking fame and many have succeeded. Filipino talents like Arnel Pineda, who is currently the vocalist of Journey, and our very own Charice Pempengco who’s now a true international star, are just two them.
Now, a new duo of Filipina-American national is making its fame on YouTube. They called themselves “Rin on the Rox“, which is derived from their names Erin and Roxanne. Their specialty is obviously duets, and they can sing. 
These filipinas have voices designed for singing. They can hit the Beyonce and Mariah high notes, blend pretty well and they have flexible voice box that can make their voices very similar to the original artists.
Rin on the Rox has been featured in Ellen Degeneres’ show, and they were invited to guest on the show by Ellen. I think we already know that fame is coming up next.

I’ve got Scammed. Am I again?
Leah (my wife) got too worried today as she followed up about our free 4 days/3 nights at Crown Regency package from Club Ultima. We paid a reservation fee of Php 5,000 last weekend, with a confirmation from them that we will have it back when we check out. The thing is, they have not issued us a receipt yet because they said it’s still for processing and it will be delivered to my office on Monday. Now it’s Tuesday and nobody answers their phone.
Earlier this morning, Leah got a text message from her mom saying that it might only be a 1 day stay and the Php 5,000 is actually a payment for that. Leah called me up and she sounded worried about it. Much more when she realized that we still don’t have the receipt of the payment we made. Right after she got to her office, she consulted Google about it and learned about Noemi‘s and JayDJ‘s posts. I also read about it and will keep hushing Leah for the meantime while there’s still no confirmation.

Naruto Manga 432 is now online
If you’re a Naruto Manga fan, you may now read the Manga Chapter 432 from OneManga.com. Sure it’s been there since Friday, and if you hate waiting long for the images to load, you might also check out the synopsis on Naruto Blog. It’s Pain vs Naruto.
The chapter ended with Naruto getting lost his power as he have consumed a lot of it during the fight. Now it looks like it’s Pain’s turn on the next chapter. But who knows, right? Naruto has full of surprises. And he hasn’t shown very new technique yet.
Meanwhile, let’s talk about Sasuke. He’s been out of the scene lately and I just want to make sure you haven’t forgotten him yet. He’s currently with the Akatsuki and he had destroyed a village just recently. He’s a badass avenger of nothing, and he’s a believer of Madara. That’s what he is as of the moment.
Given this, what do you think is his future?
He certainly have violated a lot of regulations of Konoha and he’s more of a criminal in his situation. So when he returns to the village, he should be prosecuted and sit against the law. Although, I don’t see him coming back very soon. There will still be a lot of chasing to be done for Naruto after he finishes Pain. That war with the Akatsuki is still not ending, and there’s still lots of blood to shed.
Who’s hero that’s gonna die next?
I have quite a speculation that for Naruto to be a Hokage, the current Hokage must first be incapable of being a Hokage and that’s Tsunade. Would you think she’s gonna end life soon? Or at least paralized by the Akatsuki? Lots of possibilities right?
Then again, I hope Konoha doesn’t get to worst as well as its ninjas. Killing should stop.
The Journey to Cebu Starts now
- Have you been to Cebu for a vacation?
- Do you have places to recommend us to go to?
- How would you spend a 4-days/3-nights stay in Cebu?
- Would you advise us to visit Bohol as well?
- How about the food? What would you recommend us? What kind of food do you want us to try?
- We are staying at the Crown Regency in Cebu. Would you recommend trying out the Edge Coaster or the Sky Walk? Or perhaps both?
It’s obviously gonna be our first trip to Cebu. It’s been planned since last year, and since I have quite good AdSense earnings during the past couple of months, the plan is on this February. We have paid the reservation already, but right now, I don’t have anything yet on our itinerary. We’ll be working that out and hopefully came to a good one before we fly off.
This officially marks the start of our Cebu travel.
Going with me is my wife, 2 kids, and my mom-in-law. She has experienced Cebu before, but I don’t think she can be our tour guide. So why won’t you help us out here? If you have anything you would recommend, please do so. We’d be happy to hear from you.
