Sasuke vs Raikage

Sasuke vs Raikage
It’s been a couple of episodes since Akatsuki distract the meeting of the five kages, and the fight is now between Sasuke and the Raikage. We know that Raikage is a badass and he’s more experienced than Sasuke, no questions asked. But if you think Raikage can pull this off on Sasuke, you’re thinking wrong.
It’s not a question of who’s gonna win. It’s more like “How Sasuke will end this fight”. For sure, Sasuke will never lose on this fight. It’s either he killed the Raikage, or get a way out if Raikage can’t be stopped. Sasuke has to live.
No matter what the result of the fight is, Sasuke and Naruto will have to meet. That’s their fate. So again, it’s not the matter of who’s gonna win between Sasuke and the Raikage. But, do we want the Raikage well-done or half-cooked?
Bulanglang Recipe (Boiled Vegetables) -repost
I will soon turnover this blog to my wife in the coming days, and her plan is to fill this up with her favorite filipino recipes and more recipes she invented and learned from others. And while it looks like she’s not got the time to blog yet, let me repost my favorite vegetable recipe I posted long way back. It’s called the ‘Bulanglang‘. A recipe I only find in Batangas, though I heard there’s a similar recipe in Bulacan.
Here’s the list of the primary ingredients of Bulanglang
- 1 Papaya fruit
- ¼ regular-sized squash (kalabasa)
- 5 Okra
- 5 tomatoes (kamatis)
- ¼ Garlic bulb (bawang)
- 2 tsp. salt
- patani (i don’t know the en.
it belongs to beans family) - sigarilyas (in Batangas, it is called as kalamismis I don’t know the en.)
- string beans
- malunggay leaves
- squash flower and leaves
How to cook Bulanglang
Preparing ingredients
- Peel off the papaya fruit. Divide it into several cuts. *Tip: before peeling a papaya, slightly cut it first on its vertical lines so you have the marks where to cut it when you already peeled it. Make french-fries-like cuts from each part.
- Peel off the squash. Slice it into thin chunks.
- Slice the Okra diagonally into 3 parts.
- Slice the tomatoes into 4.
- Press the garlics.
- Separate the patani beans from its skin.
- Chop the sigarilyas into several chunks.
- Chop the string beans about 2 inches each.
- Separate the malunggay leaves from its stem
How I cooked my Bulanglang
- Boil tomato cuts and garlic on a pot of 1.5L water until tomatoes become saggy.
Add 2 tsp of salt. Adding salts, btw, depends on your taste. - Put other vegetables in the cooking pot. Normally, those that are easily get cooked should be put first. But it depends on you. You can put them all at once as well. Vegetables normally get cooked for about 10-15 mins only depending on the amount of heat.
- Wait until all vegetables are cooked. Serve hot.
- That’s it.
Cursed! Fated!
So the battle that’s currently happening between Sasuke and Naruto has been happening through the generations. Madara revealed something in the last manga and though I hate to believe him, it seems to be the truth. It makes a lot of sense and it’s perfectly fitted to the story.

The fate of Fire and Hatred, that is Sasuke and Naruto
The Uchiha and Senju has been battling from the start, when the Kage of the six paths declared his successor. There were two brothers, both were capable of being the next kage, but the kage has to choose only one. He chose the younger one, and the older one was not happy about it. That started it all. Hatred between the two drove them to continuous battle and it ran through their descendants. Madara fought the first Hokage because he believes it was their fate. And now, it’s about to happen again between Naruto and Sasuke.
Sasuke looks like he’s letting himself being driven by hatred and the fate. But Naruto is still firm on his principles. We never know if Naruto will ever give up on this. But worse comes to worst, Naruto could certainly bring a fight to Sasuke. It’s about time for them to meet again.
The fate of Naruto and Sasuke
What if there’s really no chance for Naruto and Sasuke to be friends again? What if they’re really meant to fight against and destined to be mortal enemies?
