A testimonial about the Power of Prayer and God’s Love – Part 2
How I met my husband. Last time I shared with you my prayer for the Man of my Life. I prayed this every night. Now, I’ll tell you how I met him.  October 2003, after months of job hunting, I finally landed my dream job; (I also prayed for this job). or shall I say the Job, it’s actually the job that I prayed for. Hey! Come to think of it, when I got the job, I got my man as well. He and I were part of the same start group. And the rest as they say, is history. Â
 Well, I hated his guts at first, he can be irritating at times. But eventually we became good friends and later on, the best of friends. At first, I did not entertain the idea that he could be the one I was praying for. I just enjoyed his company. But I continued to pray to the Lord to help me see if he really is the one for me. I prayed harder when I realized that I was falling for him! But it was when I already agreed to go steady with him that I realized that he really is the Blessing from God! I think it was just a few days of being steady with him when he told me: ‘Honey, gusto kong ikaw ang maging ina ng aking mga anak.’ I can still remember it. We were at our usual tambayan, seated in one of the benches at the park outside 6750, right in the center of Shangrila-Glorietta-6750 area. Â
I was shocked, but right there I realized it was him. I couldn’t hide my smile, my tears. Deep inside I was thanking the Lord. And I never fail and I never will fail to thank Him for blessing me with a wonderful man, Aldrin. I hope you find inspiration in what I have shared with you. It is a testimonial to how God answers our prayers in his time. And how God will give if only we ask. Filipinas and women all over the world, believe in the power of prayer. Believe in the power of praying for a good husband.Â
