I was surprised when I arrived yesterday at the office with these waving colors around the room. Accenture is sponsoring UAAP 70.

I don’t care much about it. I was just surprised.

It seems that Accenture is now taking a big leap on advertising. It is somehow good and I hope I won’t hear “Accenture what?” anymore from people who ask me where I work. 90% of the people know Accenture as a Call Center.

I remember one time when I rode a taxi home after a graveyard shift.

Driver: “Where do you work Sir?”
Me: Accenture.
Driver: Is it a “Calling Center”?.

I always just say, yes. I don’t want to explain.

And maybe because Accenture is aware of this, lately they opened a real Accenture Call Center.
What I have just written has no intentions of degrading the reputation of my Company. Accenture is still one of the Greatest Place 2 Work in the country. I am proud being a part of it. I was very lucky to have my first job here.
