Asus eee wifi connection @ Starbucks

Wow. This is my first to experience this. Having breakfast @ Starbucks while surfing the internet, creating blogposts, reading blogs, reading news. Wow!

The internet connection here is I’d say, satisfactory. It’s fast enough.

There are several available Wireless Networks and I don’t know which one to use. I said, it’s my first time. So I tried globequest and airborneaccess to no avail. I can’t find which one is Starabucks’ so I just used Pizza Hut’s. Amazingly, I succeeded.

Now I’m gonna have faster connection to do sudo apt-get update and install some applications. Good luck for me because I’m trying this for the nth time. I hope I don’t get disconnected in the process.

I am installing bluetooth and maybe gimp. Yesterday I attempted gftp but ended up with FireFTP instead. Not much about gftp and FireFTP though. I just need to transfer files much easier to my host.

I don’t want to always go here though. It’s too expensive. Like now, I have already spent Php 165.00 for a single breakfast. But I’ll try it again sometime.

  2. Yeah, I’m enjoying. :) I’m a Linux noob.
