Eowyn is one month and a day old now

A month ago ‘yesterday’, my wife gave birth to Ley. But I thought it was only yesterday. Time’s really passing by so fast. Tomorrow’s another month again.
With the past 31 days, Ley has experience a lot in this world already. In her second week she suffered from pneumonia and we’re thankful it never lasted long. Ley’s very healthy now and strong. She gained weight and grew few a inches. Before, she cries almost all day and night, seems like she feels uncomfortable all the time. But she’s more at ease now. She enjoys looking at things around her when she’s awake and just lying in her crib. You can never see her like that before. Many improvements happened to her in just a month. Thank God for fulfilling our hearts.
Now what? Get the cake and share it to the readers, honey. Ooops, you said I forgot to greet Ley, but I really did not. You think I did? Please. Maybe this post is a bit late… What do we have for next month? Oh, it’s Sam’s birthday. I’ll greet her now. Happy Birthday Sam.

How do you give names to your babies
Like I just announced on my previous post, we just had our new baby. Like Maria Arwen Sofia, she also has three names on her first name, Laura Eowyn Ysabel.
Maria Arwen Sofia has her nickname as the reverse of her initials, SAM. But this time, we’ll call Laura Eowyn Ysabel as LEY. We have actually planned to use the reverse as well but it will just sound not too good as “yell”. We think that it might confuse her when she starts to learn following instructions. What if we say “Yel. Yel.”, then she might yell at us. Just kidding. And besides, Lei or Ley has been Leah’s nickname for her friends. But all her relatives call he ‘Honey’. Why? She’s just sooooo sweet.
You might ask where did we get the name. Well, we just thought of them. Only Eowyn has an explanation so far. Like Arwen, she’s also a character in the famous Lord of the Rings novel. The other 2 names, we just found them cute. 
Ley is just 4 days old but many have commented that she’s gonna have a hard time to write her name on test papers when she go to school. But I heard that schools now allow nicknames on test papers except on National exams and Entrace exams. I’m not sure about it though.

Tomorrow is the day
We are so excited for tomorrow to come for my wife’s delivery. It is indeed another beautiful gift from above. More than anything else, this is what excites me too much.
I pray the Lord for a safe delivery and peaceful day tomorrow. I pray that all party involved are in good spirit and peaceful minds when they do the operation on my wife.
For the new baby, there’s a lot that awaits you outside. Many things you might like, and a lot of thing you might not like. But you don’t have to worry about that for your parents will lead you to things you deserve in your life. We promise you true love and care.
To my wife, please be strong as your first. God is with us all time. I love you.
She loves to work. A lot.
Yes, she does. Despite her doctor’s advice to take some rests, she always thinks of her deadlines and still goes to work. She’s a very good employee, high performer. I see it from the start, she loves her work.
