Cu4tro Cantos

The Four Songs of Life

Cu4tro Cantos is the new Ala Eh Blog. Since I cannot provide pure Batangueño articles, I decided a revamp of the site, which I think is more appropriate. Cu4tro Cantos refers to the four members of the Cantos Family. In spanish, Cuatro means Four, and Cantos means Songs.

Well, let’s see how far I can go with this. If it’s gonna be a niche to me, I must be lucky… So far, I see some potentials on it. So I will continue it as long as I have something to say about it.

I’m better a Car Mechanic

Wow. I don’t believe I could save 2.5K for a car aircon switch. Our car has been literally a “hot car” for about 2 weeks. The aircon switch suddenly broke one time we went for grocery. But I never initially thought it has something to do with the switch. I heard something strange from the blower area, which has been the root cause before, and I thought it again broke. I tried fixing it right that night but was not able to. The next day, I brought the car to a nearby repair shop and traced the root cause at the switch. It’s really the culprit.

Ariba's Next Top ModelAs part of the Christmas celebration in our company, we organized a competition ( for fun and fund raising ), among employees to cast their talent in modeling. :) Unluckily, I was one of the contestants. Luckily, it’s not about the looks. Unluckily, I have to look good at some point. Unluckily, I haven’t done my rhinoplasty in Baltimore yet. Luckily, my nose doesn’t look that bad. Unluckily, I think I have the worst nose among the contestants. Luckily, I can carry it. Unluckily, it’s heavy but I can still carry it. :D Luckily, I have a lot of money alloted to buy votes.

Whew! If you want to help me buy votes, so I can be the Next Top Model, a vote only costs 1 peso. You can donate via paypal some of your AdSense earnings via doante button below. If button does not work, please send your votes to mrniceash@gmail.com :D If I win, I will pursue my modeling career and maybe go showbiz. :D

A blogger revived

I have been wanting to welcome this blogger back. But then always forgets. Aging. Welcome back, Sugarplum Fairy.

She’s my sexy Filipina wife. Actually, before Yuga and Albrine, I already heard the word ‘blog’ from her. That’s my first encounter with that word. She mentioned that she used to write on her Xanga blog before. I don’t think she still remembers her URL. :P

I can also remember when I created an ASP version of wordpress and she asked me to setup one for her. She had a couple posts but then stopped again. She’s truly focused on office work, that’s the reason.

And now that she’s back again, I hope it never ends this time.

Again, welcome back to the blogging galaxy, Sugarplum Fairy.

My previous jobs

I have never mentioned anything about my previous jobs before, have I? Well, before I had my current profession, I’ve done so many things, not so ordinary I guess, at least for bloggers/computer professionals.

When I was still a kid, grade school I believe, I used to have a weekend work where I get extra allowance for school day recess. That job, I am proud to experience. I worked with my dad whenever he has projects. He was a carpenter, and I help him together with other kids get sand and gravel, and mix with cement. I get 1.00 Php for every big bucket of sand, 1.00 Php for every big bucket of gravel, and 5.00 Php for every sack of cement I carry from main road to the building site.
