Paolo: Alright, so you won two of the major awards - Best in Long Gown, Best in Swimsuit, do you feel any pressure right now?
Janina: No, I don’t feel any pressure right now.

Vivienne Tan: The question is, what role did your family play to you as candidate to Binibining Pilinas?
Janina: Well, my family’s role for me is so important b’coz there was the wa- they’re, they was the one who’s… very… Hahahaha… Oh I’m so sorry, Ahhmm… My pamily… My family… Oh my god… I’m… Ok, I’m so sorry… I… I told you that I’m so confident… Eto, Ahhmm, Wait… Hahahaha, Ahmmm, Sorry guys because this was really my first pageant ever b’coz I’m only 17 years old and ahahaha I, I did not expect that I came from, I came from one of the top 10. Hmmm, so… but I said that my family is the most important persons in my life. Thank you.

There’s been a lot of Filipinos that brought pride to fellow Filipinos. Sports, inventions, discoveries, making records on Guinness, to name a few… And a lot of world class singers. Leah Salonga, Alan Pineda, Nicole of PCD, Billy Crawford. And some even made it to American Idol. Jasmine Trias, Jose Penala. Another Fil-Am is making it to Hollywood from San Diego California. A 16-yr old guy, I forgot his name. And another one is not making it. From Dallas, he’s no other than Renaldo Lapuz.

While watching the video I felt embarassed as a Filipino. But in the end, I realized that I am worse than him. He’s a true Filipino and I am proud of him.

I missed the Mayweather - Dela Hoya match months ago and I was wondering how did Mayweather defeat Dela Hoya. Oscar Dela Hoya is way advanced compare to him but when I saw his match against Ricky Hatton, I got the answer.
