Cuatro Cantos

Me and my family were at the Century Corned Tuna Cook-off for bloggers yesterday. Our friend and big time blogger Abe Olandres actually forwarded the invite to us. Thanks Abe! Century Tuna is a staple in our weekly menu. Our family loves Century Tuna Lite, Century Tuna in Brine and with Calamansi variants. I also like the Century Bangus with Tausi. So you could just imagine how excited I was to attend this event.

It was a Saturday morning, I checked my mails after breakfast when I saw the email from Abe. I texted April of HavocDigital (they are the ones promoting the event) and asked if we can still attend the event. When she replied yes, I finished all my chores and prepared to leave the house. Since last April when Aldrin and I decided to have our church wedding next year, I’ve been browsing the internet for wedding tips, themes and whatnot. I also have been searching for Bridal fairs that we can attend to meet wedding suppliers and get ideas on the latest wedding trends.

Today we went to Megamall to check out The 4th Philippine Wedding Congress. It’s my first bridal fair and I never thought it could be so Fun! Just as soon as we entered the hall, we were greeted with a free photo shoot at the FotoLoco booth. We gamely posed for our free photocard. Aldrin instantly decided that the photo booth should be our ultimate wedding souvenir, hmmm… we’ll see.

I came from a team building at Virgin Beach Resort in Laiya, San Juan, Batangas yesterday, and was a bit tired when I got home last night. I had a sound sleep and didn’t even realized my wife has gone to market the next morning. I woke up with my daughter trying to open my shut eyes literally ‘manually‘.

‘Dad, wake up, we have something for you.”, she said. So I woke up and when my other daughter saw me, she hurriedly jumped on the bed and then jumped continuously on me like she always does every morning. Yeah, it’s her way of saying “Dad, I miss you and love you a lot”.

So I got up from the bed, walk right straight to the kitchen sink and after washing my face (i didn’t brush my teeth), there are my daughters handing me a beautiful Basketball Cake from Red Ribbon with embedded letters on, saying “Happy Father’s Day!”.

Not only a cake, but they also have single pack of Loacker wafer coated with Hazel Nut Chocolate which I like very much. And like I said “I like it very much”, I didn’t even bother taking a picture of it and I ate it right away.

Having those presents is very much enough for me, but to them it’s still incomplete. They prepared a greeting card for me which I’m gonna show you after the break.
