Definitely the movie that me and my wife awaits, it’s showing next week at theaters, is the Twilight. And the soundtrack is getting me crazy too. Well, that’s a Paramore song and I’m into them. You know, emo rock…?

When your in the mood for having some shocking moment, I would not recommend this movie, however, in case you want to scare yourself while in the bathroom, this could help. This is a great movie with a nice twist.

Benjamin Carson [Kiefer Sutherland] was a retired cop, broke, while separated from his wife and kids. He lives with in his sisters house while trying to get back on his feet. He took a job as a watchman for an abandoned department store in New York, since the pension he receives is not enough. He had no idea that there’s a mystery happening in the building, nor have any idea he’s tasked to uncover some more.

While doing a round inside the building one night, he saw signs of what’s actually happened during the time the building was burning. He heared loud voices crying for help. He knew he’s being played by the mirrors, but somehow, as a helpful citizen, he chose to lend a help.

He never minds the creeps he could have in that building. While he knew there’s somebody needing his help, he was much willing to help, but he never knew he was tasked to do it… by the mirrors.

There was a girl named Anna Esseker. Her records tell she was a patient once in a hospital residing in the abandoned building. The doctors did not believe her when she said she’s not sick but possessed. Instead, the doctors put her in a room with mirrors around her, thinking Anna will learn how to fight his sickness. But worse came to worst, the demons possessing Anna were trapped in to the mirrors. Anna’s not sick anymore nor possessed, but the mirrors need her. Anna is the only way for Ben to escape his task.

Ben finds Anna, and Anna does not want to get back to where she was once. She knows the consequences but for the sake of Ben, her wife and kids, she agreed to help. The demons escaped the mirrors and possessed Anna once again. Ben had to kill Anna and there’s no other choice.

Everything went fine after, except that Ben now lives inside the mirror world.

“That’s it!?” - This is the exact sentence that came out of my wife’s mouth when I boastfully showed off (yeah, it’s repeatedly redundant :P) the old Twilight Movie trailer to her. She was very excited to see it but seems a bit disappointed in the end because the trailer is not too good. Though it really tells there was something more…

So if you, like my wife, are disappointed with the old trailer, don’t cry no more, wipe your tears because there’s a newer trailer on the official site. It says it’s the final trailer, so let’s not hope for more, and if there comes another version, let’s get surprised then.

By the way, I bought a copy of the first installation of book, “Twilight”, and in less than a week, my wife is done reading it. I tried to break her record but I’m still on page 15 until now. It’s been 3 weeks.

Released last January but was just able to watch today in DVD. Joseph Cross played the role of Owen Reily, a psychotic young man who started killing guys who he thinks do not respect the death of his Father.

I was not particularly amazed of how he kills people but the way he set up his website with interchanging connections. That’s wise, so FBI cannot trace his location by just the IP, which is still impossible. I have not heard of this knowledge before. Well, this is fiction.

I also observed some weaknesses of the FBI, particularly Jennifer and Griffin, for not being able to think of other possible ways to stop visitors from visiting killwithme dot com. They knew it that the website uses interchanging connection every once in a while to keep it untraceable, plus it uses servers in Russia which is not their custody and they cannot request to shut the site down. What they did not try is to contact all internet service providers (ISP) that visitors were using and block all access to killwithme dot com. I don’t think there’s too much ISP that visitors used on the movie. That might have helped the victims stay longer.

You might not get what I am trying to say hear so I suggest you watch the movie. It’s great but not the type that will amaze everyone.

Bangkok Dangerous is on my to-watch list. Nicholas Cage is amazing on all his movies. Unlike his hair that little by little disappears, his talent never fades. This movie, although a remake of the same title filmed in Thailand, will be more exciting that the original. Because Nicholas is there and he’s good. I could say this endlessly because he’s really good.

I liked the City of Angels as well as Face Off. I like The Rock and I liked Con Air. I liked Ghost Rider and Next. Matchstick Men and National Treasures 1 and 2 are astounding. How about Gone in 60 Seconds? No Doubt, Bangkok Dangerous is on my list.
