Exchange gifts
One tradition that we still never fail to practice during the holiday season is gift-giving. There’s the Kris Kringle; you give gifts that fall within a particular theme for your baby. Some popular gift themes are ‘something hard’, ‘something long’, or both: ‘something hard and long’. There is the thrill of wondering who your baby really is.
There is also the Exchanging of gifts, you buy something within a fixed budget and get to exchange it with someone else. Sometimes, you have to buy Unisex gifts to be safe and to make sure that your gift will be enjoyed by a guy or a girl.
And since we are already talking about gifts, I’d like to share what’s on my wish list this year:
1. Original DVD or VCD of the movie The House of the Spirits (based on a novel by Isabel Allende),
2. Original DVD of Grey’s Anatomy Seasons 1 to 3,
3. Any piece of designer clothing (a shirt from Juicy Couture would be delightful!),
4. Hardbound copy of Harry Potter Book 7.
For those who will pick my name for the Kris Kringle and exchange gifts, don’t worry, its okay if I don’t get what’s on my list. Remember, it’s the thought that counts. Happy gift giving to everyone.
