Manny Pacquiao vs. Juan Manuel Marquez
Then my Pacquiao vs. Marquez predictions did not come true; except to those for politicians. It is still something to be happy about because once more, Manny Pacquiao triumphed over Juan Manuel Marquez.
But the fight was not as intense as Pacquiao – Barrera or Pacquiao – Morales. It’s not worth the excitement, it’s not worth the PPV, it’s not worth anything. The scores are somehow questionable as well. 115 – 112 for Marquez, 115 – 112 for Pacquiao, 114 – 113 for Pacquiao. I don’t know anything about scoring the match but it’s not convincing for me. This is just my opinion.
Pacquiao deserves to be the new champion
His first encounter with Marquez ended with a so-unfair-draw-decision, while he was able to knock down Marquez 3 times on the first round. And one of the judges admitted there was a little lapse in scoring? [not sure about this. someone, please validate.] So since it was a draw fight, let’s say it was the other half rounds of the recently concluded one. Then by that we say, Manny knocked down Marquez 4 times that sent him to victory. Because it looks like if there was no knock down for Pacquiao, it was again a clear draw. Or worse, Pacquiao lost. What you think?
Marquez – Pacquiao Rematch
There’s already a rumor I heard that Marquez’s camp is already asking for a rematch, which surely something that Pacquiao won’t reject. Ask for a rematch and Pacquiao will be there. “Marquez surely is after the payment, and for recovering the belt.”, Pacquiao said yesterday during an interview on GMA.
Now what do we expect for this next rematch? Are we seeing a clear KO this time? And what’s the title gonna be?
