My Dinner at Bagoong Club
Last night, me, my good friend and officemate Reych, and her good friend Glen went to one of the most talked-about restos in the metro.
Reych invited me to dine with them at Bagoong Club, I called Aldrin and Reych asked permission from Aldrin so I can go with them. I’m not sure if he agreed but I went with them. 
The ride was not that long, we took the MRT and it was 4 stations from Boni. We dropped of at GMA-Kamuning station and rode the taxi. The resto is in Sct. Lazcano, Sacred Heart in Quezon City.
My first impression of the resto’s facade is its a stand-out among the rows of houses there. The establishment is an old-Spanish type house or the “bahay na bato”.
The lobby for receiving guests were full of pictures of celebrities that have visited the resto. There’s former president Joseph Estrada, Sharon Cuneta, Piolo Pascual, and super duper many more.
I’ve seen Bagoong Club featured in many magazines and TV shows and we ordered some of the resto’s favorite dishes are Bulalo sa Munggo Binagoongan Combination and Inihaw na Pusit na Busog sa Bopis.
Here is my verdict:
Bulalo sa Munggo - heavenly, you can really taste the beef flavor of the soup plus the meat is so tender, fall-of-the-bone tender, and i like beef flavor so this is a winner for me. The soup also has Malunggay leaves and cabbage strips.

Binagoongan Combination – i love this one especially the crispy pork with the chicharon bits. the bagoong sauce is not bad as well, sweet and not to salty. The grilled pork was good too, the bagoong sauce has spring onions and chili to add a smoky-spicy flavor.

Inihaw na Pusit na busog sa Bopis – what I liked about this dish is the freshness of the squid, it’s not rubbery. And I never thought that Pusit and Bopis will go really well, and also with sauce. I think we only have one request, chop the bopis into smaller bits.
All in all, our meal is fantastic! The meals are for me, reasonably priced and affordable. The service of the staff is also great, you feel the warmth and the courtesy. I already want to go back with Aldrin, with my mom and Lola who by the way will be coming home from the US for a vacation.
