My Driving Experience

I don’t own a car. I don’t own a bike either. But I know how to drive. I learned the basics through keen observations on every driver I met. The most basic, I learned from my father. He’s really a defensive driver.

Last time I went to Batangas, my brother was there as well. He also lives in Cavite, about a kilometer away from where I live. He’s with his bike so I borrowed my dad’s bike and convoy-ride with my brother back to Cavite. It was my first time to ride a bike on busy highways. It was approximately 84 kms trip and as a first-timer, I have to be very careful.

I was just thankful that I always read about defensive driving from studydriving.com where I also have a couple of posts. And I reached my destination very safe.

Driving is fun and it seems I want to have a ride of my own. is there a Rolls Royce dealer somewhere here?

that must have been a lot of guts you had to drive 84 km in a highway on a bike! i guess driving gives one a sense of empowerment. my student license expired a few days ago–i am still gathering enough guts!

I skid 2 times and both were ‘close’. really… the wheels don’t stick very well. And the helmet I used was too loose.
