The Batangas Bay. Childhood Chronicles Part III
One of my favorite hangout with my friends when I was a kid was to go swimming at the bay. Everyday during summer, from as early as 6am up to 5pm, no matter how big the waves were, we still enjoy its not so clean water. Yeah, not clean at all. Wastes are just around the shore. If you’re sensitive to dirty surroundings, my hangout place may not be the right place for you.
Here’s a of a portion of the Batangas Bay where I used to enjoy during childhood.
The island at the background is Tingloy, which is accessible only by ferry boats. I’m not sure but I hear that the only vehicle they use for traveling by land are motorbikes and bicycles.
The people around are my childhood friends, already enjoying their long missed dirty shore. They were waiting for me to come but I have to take pictures first.
