The Philippines from a helmet search
I was on a motorbike yesterday and on a 38.1 miles road and my helmet did not make me very comfortable. So I googled for a helmet in the Philippines and I stumble upon a website of a Swedish missionary. It shows some Malaysian riders, all wearing helmets compared to Filipino riders where he saw only 2 helmet wearers among 10,000. That’s embarrassing.
The website mainly discusses about his travel experience in the Philippines. I read through the rest of the article and found out some positive, negative, weird, and some likable facts about the country which I never know before.
Reading it though made me feel a bit discriminated as a Filipino. I give you the site and let me know how you’ll feel after reading it.
