Weekend Visit to Batangas
UPDATE: Photos are now available at the bottom of this post.
UPDATE: Yours truly is still unable to install the Photo Gallery successfully.
After 2 months, I saw Batangas again. I went there last Saturday for something confidential (as of now). It was also one of my friend’s birthday so it’s nice timing. I tried to treat him as birthday gift but he insisted that it’s on him. While at the place, I noticed that there’s something missing. It shouldn’t be only us two so I called her ex-gf and we together ate lunch. I also called another close friend but he’s already out on a date.
By the way, here’s some changes I noticed from the city.
- Jeepney routes changed
- a Flyover is being built
- road to the International Port of Batangas is being repaired
- more roads under construction
- new buildings
Very early next day, we again went to Batangas. It was my nephews first birthday celebration. We took Tagaytay route and it was misty along the way. But it’s kinda cool views so I took some shots with my SLVR L7. (Photos to be followed while gallery is being setup.)
After the party, we drove back to Cavite. It was around 4PM and I felt very tired. I fell asleep in the car and I missed that wonderful view of the Fantasy World. (I’ll try to find a photo.)
While we were in Tagaytay, we stopped at a Shell gasoline station and I was totally surprised of those very generous gasoline boys. They will greet you first, then one by one they’ll ask what you need with full respect. When there were no customers, they will dance with the tune. Those guys were so funny but if you’re a kill-joy-type of person, you might get annoyed. Go try refilling on one shell station in Tagaytay and enjoy.
